Themes arouse the mind in the area of color and fashion displayed in a wedding. Colors carry mood in the m and they can thus easily affect the mood for the positive or negative. Neutral and dull colors bring a somber mood, no wonder opposites of weddings-the burial ceremonies command that people dress in black. The opposite is true for weddings.  A white gown and pure jewellery carry the essence of purity and they reflect beauty. Coupled with the bridal dress colors, a theme is created. A theme will be applied in all areas of the wedding-the garden, reception and the cake, all the car beautifications and all.

A wedding is incomplete without bride’s maids and groomsmen. They make a complete picture of a stylish wedding. Bride’s maids will lead in entrances and heighten the wait for the beauty of the day, carrying the brightest smiles that make the audience want to see how the lady of the day will look. They may at times come in matching pairs of young couples that keep you picturing the final couple of the day. Yes, they are radiant, attractive and worth a look. They bear the theme of the wedding. 

Traditional wedding decorations may have been limited to balloons, ribbons and flowers. Today however, things have changed and balloons can only be called primitive. Think of a wedding as comprising three parts which need specific decorations for each. First is the location in which the religious part of the wedding will be performed, the official part of the ceremony. That one takes a shorter time and is a solemn moment. Great decoration with detail where the audience attention will focus is very important. Of importance is flower arrangements around alter and on the signing table.  Each sitting area may have theme colors and flowers on them with ribbon detail that matches theme colors of the day. 

14^th August 2011 was the most precious day of our lives- It was our “Dream Wedding Day”!!

We would like to thank all of you for your fullest support to us on that dreamy wedding day.

Our special thanks are forward to our parents, relations & friends who gave their fullest corporation to be succeeded this event very beautiful.

We started planning about 8 months before our wedding. First we looked for a hotel. We went to several hotels check the rate, hotel surroundings. Finally we decided to select Galle face hotel.

Both of us are catholic so we need to find a church. My husband wanted to have the mass at St’ Lucia’s church – kotahena but I wanted to have the wedding mass at All Saints church. I have not been to St’ Lucia’s church before when my husband took me to the church I too really wanted to have the wedding mass at St’ Lucia’s church – Kotahena.

Dreaming about your “Big day” is rather easier than actually planning for the final masterpiece. Word of advice to the brides and grooms to be - keep dreaming about your day, dress, colors, flowers, music, favors to everything but write them down, sort them out, compare ideas with other ideas as well as each other, this will be a great guide to your final destination OR hire a good wedding planner who understands your needs.

Your wedding day is probably the most important day of your life and memories of this day are usually captured by a professional photographer and creating a photo album. Each style of wedding photography is different and they all capture the moment in a unique way.
