Your wedding day is supposed to be the most memorable day of your life, a day that you will cherish with friends and family, and fondly recall in years to come. It is probably the one day of your life that you can spend fortunes and enjoy an array of luxuries in cementing your commitment in front of your loved ones. The jewel in the crown of any wedding ceremony is a grooms wedding car, and by arriving in style you can really set the tone for the day ahead.

A wedding car is a great novelty, and it can leave you feeling like royalty upon arrival at your wedding destination. So, why not arrive in style to your wedding in a Benz or BMW, and give yourself a day to remember?

But we can’t find fault with grooms going after expensive cars. If you can afford then there’s no need to worry since it’s your wedding which happens once in life time. Likewise, there are couples who go for vintage vehicles too, which although are cheap but gives a lasting impression.

It has now become a common sight Vintage and Anton vehicles used by grooms leaving hotel premises. We, photographers feel very happy to come across such thing since these opportunities are very rare and it can be a great way to augment an already special day which make you feel on top of the world with your grand entrance.

Of course there are people who prefer going for jeeps and 3 wheelers for a change to make things merrier. But end of the day, it’s always advisable to go for vehicles which one can afford.

On the crack of dawn 6.30am supposed to take wedding photos. We were all ready including the bride and groom for the photo session. Only then we realized bride not brought the flower bouquet. There was sheer panic and everybody looking embarrassed. What’s happening and what next to be done. Clue less. At last, sight of relief. Flower bouquet was made available but it was late.

It was a day to take pictures on a wedding ceremony and every one ready for the occasion. The invitees had arrived except the bridegroom. Looked for him everywhere, nowhere to be seen. He’s missing. Later came to know, he has forgotten the flower which normally men affix on coat. You know these days, its incomplete without a flower on your coat. Some or other a flower was arranged. But, then after all these hustle we realized the auspicious time had elapsed.

On another day, took pictures at studio and it was the matter of the new wed couples getting on to the wedding throne. Auspicious time arrived. We now started taking pictures. The wedding car was parked in front of the studio. Time up to leave premises as quickly as possible. The couple made the exit towards the wedding car which was already available. Shocked, driver missing. He has parked the vehicle and have no idea where he’s been to. Looked for him all over the place but futile. Left with no option but to hire a vehicle, but when the car reached the studio to pick the couple, it was late.

Another wedding ceremony. Auspicious time had arrived and its time for the groom to dress up with the Up Country traditional wedding  costume also known as “Mul Anduma” – Nilame attire, which is a jacket of long, loose, frilly sleeves, and dhoti, trousers that stuck close to the ankle at the bottom but were slack and baggy up. The grooms man has not bought the attire. Nilame attire is not like normal trousers. It’s embarrassing but thanks for the patience of the groom. When a replacement attire was brought, it was of no use.   

Just imagine the amount of works to be done on a wedding ceremony without going through the formalities more than once.  Wedding ceremonies need proper and timely planning. You will always have last minutes hitches. Avoid making these hitches.

Weddings are important occasions that are often remembered for life. So many friends and relatives must show up. We focus on what they shall set their eyes on and like. I had in mind colored brollies for a couple as they wave their friends from far and wide and matching that with a perfect smile would be unique! The detail is set open for all to see and the key feature is the flower arrangement. Although the wedding concept involves more than just the colors, that would be a factor to consider. The whole arrangement and management of a wedding falls in the field of wedding concepts. Now, think of a colorful day. It must have, for the sake of the wonderful photos and the video, the cars are usually decorated using flowers, ribbons and balloons whose colors fit the theme of the day.

The photography requires everything to be a bit flattered to look great. In this case, the tents and the ribbon linings on their edges should reflect the sophistication to be reflected in the images that create memories and lead to feelings of pride as the couple looks back. A wonderful blend would lead to attractiveness of the site and create feeling s of relaxation to the guests. More important is the fresh look, lasting through the day and all the years in your album and the videos.

When you look at a wedding album, your eyes cannot fail to capture the various textures that come with the wonders of nature in the flowers and plants on the way that stand out on that day due to the ribbons. I believe it is the dream of every couple to have such a thought provoking concept done for them.

Themes arouse the mind in the area of color and fashion displayed in a wedding. Colors carry mood in the m and they can thus easily affect the mood for the positive or negative. Neutral and dull colors bring a somber mood, no wonder opposites of weddings-the burial ceremonies command that people dress in black. Thought of such colors for a wedding theme? The cake too was grey and black although not so inside.

Among the themes is the beach environment, beautiful and natural for people living near the seas and oceans. They present the best photos ever. In a garden wedding, the plants next to the paths are decorated with ribbons that make up the theme color while petals of flowers are poured to complete the walkway. The gown will sweep over them as the flowery “carpet” adorns all the photos taken to record the day in videos and photos. All the beauty makes the day worthwhile and the look desirable to every eye.

The look of the wedding is also manifest in the invitation cards that obviously carry the theme of the day. Most themes are made by blending two colors that go together and produce an attractive look. Providers usually have a studio displaying their creative theme ideas that they have done in the past, presenting the couple with variety from which they can make a choice. Themes can be traditional (these look really nice in African Regalia and traditional set ups) or exotic depending on the taste of the couple.

Whatever colors are chosen should be bright to induce a lovely mood. A hot-red colored wedding I once attended was inducing a good mood in the audience. Themes can be formulated to fit preferences and personalities of the bride and groom. Music of the day should match the mood created by the theme colors. Soft pink as a color carries soft music while red deserves romantic songs so naturally.

I should not to mention that flowers have fragrances. These should be mild and match the theme too. They add to the god feelings associated with the day and leave the couple feeling great. This keeps the wedding alive for years in the photos!
